cl july–     Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box that is age appropriate based on your input and offers fun and educational toys for you and your little one.  This subscription also makes a fantastic gift for an expecting couple.  I recently gave a box to my cousin for the birth of her new baby girl and she loved it!   Every month since my son’s second birthday he has looked forward to his yellow box full of toys.  I purchased an annual subscription for A on his birthday and we have really enjoyed our Citrus Lane boxes so far.   You can see past Citrus Lane Reviews by clicking HERE for another boys review or HERE for a Girls Mystery Box Review.  You can also see all of my reviews in the Subscription Box List heading.

First look. Once again everything was in great condition.

cl july insert–      Each month Citrus Lane sends out an information pamphlet.  You can typically find coupon codes on it and an explanation of all your goodies.  Some months Citrus Lane also includes a surprise for mom.

My July Box Included

Item One:  Water Wow by Melissa and Doug (Retail $4.99)

cl wow water–     I have shared that my son is autistic and does not like water very much.  You can imagine how surprised I was when he did every single page of this Water Wow activity book in one sitting.  I was so happy I bought a bundle of these on Amazon.

Item Two:  Block Set from Snapo ($12)

cl blocks july

–    These blocks were a huge hit with my four year-old and nine year-old. A didn’t want anything to do with them.  Still a win since the other two loved them.  I was really surprised how much these sets are going for online.  I believe this is a smaller version of what is being sold.

Item Three:  Mark Mat from Modern-Twist ($10)

place mat

– This is a place mat that your little one can color with washable dry-erase markers.  I really wish they would have sent the markers with the mat because I did not have any on hand.  It is pretty large and the kids seem excited about coloring on it.

Item Four:  Granola Bites from My Super Snacks ($2)

cl granola july–     We are huge fans of this brand so it was great to see they now carry granola bites.  We usually get the cookies for snack time.  A did not seem to like these much, but I will try again later.

Value:  The July Box had a value of around $30.  It was not the highest value box I have received from Citrus Lane, but it is still more than what I pay for each box.  The win for me here is learning about new items such as the Water Wow and seeing my son having fun.  This subscription really helps me find new products that benefit my kids. Remember, you can save 40% on your first box by clicking here and using coupon code SAVE40 at checkout.
