IMG_0841_1–     In their own words, Citrus Lane subscription boxes are age appropriate toys, books, goodies designed to entertain, educate and delight your child.  Citrus Lane is quickly becoming a family favorite. My 2-year-old receives a box each month of curated items for his age group. Our Citrus Lane box arrives pretty regularly mid-way through each month.  The box is always in great condition.  You can see past reviews by clicking here.

IMG_0842_1–     The box had some punch outs on the front that you could use to take pictures and enter a contest.  Citrus Lane is promoting parents health this month.  The box had no dents and the contents all were well kept. Citrus Lane is a family favorite and I just purchased a year for A for his birthday.  They really have some great discounts.

Item One:  Faber Castell Brilliant Beeswax Crayons in Storage Case ($11)

–     A is just beginning to color, he just turned two but B will love these.  Our family travels a lot, and I mean a lot.  We regularly drive as many as 21 hours in a single road trip a few times a year.  These crayons are perfect take with me items and I love the case.   We are planning a trip to Florida and New York this summer, so these will be heading to our travel backpacks.

Item Two:  Veggie Play Set from Plan Toys ($17).

–     When I saw that this was one of the spoilers, I had my fingers crossed all month that we would receive this item.  The Veggie Play Set was made exclusively for Citrus Lane and lets little ones chop and prepare four colorful vegetables.  Each vegetable is held together with Velcro so it can be sliced in half with a wooden knife.  I promise this is very safe, as we have been doing this since we opened the box.  I thought B would go crazy but she is asleep and A probably will not give these up now.  He just keeps stacking them in a row and opening them up.  So happy, this item alone makes this box worth the cost for me. Note:  They sell this set, but it comes with a cutting tray.  I do not know if I was supposed to receive one or not and will keep an eye out.

Item Three:  Babyganics Cold Relief Chest Rub ($6.99).

IMG_0853_1–     This month Citrus Lane gave me a few options as a mystery item.  Someone constantly has a cold in this house and we love to use chest rubs at night.  The fact this is organic is truly a plus.

Item Four:  12 and 24 Piece Puzzle Set from Barefoot Books ($14).IMG_0846_1–     I am so happy this comes with two puzzles.  A will have fun with the 12 piece and B will love the 24 piece.   The concept behind the puzzle is to grow with your child.  I just happen to have a 2 and 4 year old, so this is great.

–     Based on my calculations this box has a value of around $50 and we absolutely love and will use everything from this box.  We purchased the annual subscription and pay about $16.25 for each box.  I have been considering purchasing a second box for B but she is almost out of the age range and I know we are purchasing a year of Kiwi for her for the holidays.
