Every six weeks or so I like to share what items after testing I actually loved so much that I went out and purchased. A teacher’s salary is not exorbitant so I have to really weigh my options. No one is paying me for these opinions, this is just what I found works for me. Here is what I couldn’t part with, where I first tested the item and why it was worth the cost.
1. Ipsy (August Glam Bag) $10/monthly
Dr. Brandt Pores No More (Dr. Brandt Online Store w/ $36.00 with coupon and received another free travel size). Normal Cost $45.
The picture below really illustrates why I purchased the product. I have embarrassingly large pores on my nose and found that with moisturizer and Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner my nose actually looks normal. Obviously, this is not a picture of me, I actually found it on the net and I am going to be honest I really didn’t want to share my nose pores with an audience 🙂 Now I can happily say what pores?

2. Citrus Lane Tea Collection (4 year old outfit and shoes).
My Citrus lane September Box (see review in early post) included a $25.00 off coupon for Tea Collection. My box included a shirt from the company for my 1 year old son valued at almost $25.00. I loved the quality and color of the shirt and decided to pick up a few items for my daughter as well for her birthday. The clothing line is a little pricey for me but on special occasions I will definitely consider returning.
I absolutely love our Citrus Lane subscription because I receive products for me and the kids that otherwise I would have no idea exist and most of the time they are very practical. We use everything from the box. Right now they are having a fantastic deal ( I wish I had subscribed using this).
By clicking above for my invite and entering coupon code BONUSBOX at checkout you will not only receive this months box but you will also receive a Bonus Box worth $40 with your new subscription purchase!
3. Escape Monthly $49.99/monthly or Escape Mini $24.99/monthly (India Box/July)
Korma (Natural Grocers)
I picked up this sauce at my local Natural Grocers for under $3.00 after trying it for the first time. Escape Monthly recommended using Ghee (see next item) as the cooking base with chicken and then adding this sauce. It was amazing and very healthy; a winning combination for parents.
4. Escape Monthly (India Box/July)
Organic Ghee (Amazon.com)
The large jar of ghee on Amazon is a little pricey but I really believe it is worth every penny. It is a wonderful base and I love that it is organic. The prices vary but I purchased mine for $19.99.
Through today you can receive 50% off your first Escape Monthly. The destination for this Month is Puerto Rico. Make sure to type in Coupon Code FUNFIFTY at checkout.
5. Gwynnie Bee (prices vary depending on how many pieces you want in your closet at a time).

After receiving a free month of Gwynnie Bee I have decided to keep this subscription. I am going to subscribe for two pieces at a time ($59/monthly). I am definitely fashioned challenged and I enjoying trying out several outfits a month. I also found their purchase prices to be very reasonable. The blouse below to purchase is $23.02 and worth every penny. My favorite piece from over six items in my closet this month was this very soft/silky blouse. I found it to be very flattering and it suited my body type well. I received several compliments.
There are a few other items missing from this list as they are not yet in my possession but overall I think it was a great few weeks. What items are you thinking of purchasing from your subscription or fall favorites list?
